Tailwind believes good governance is an essential foundation for its business 

We communicate to our staff and contractors our ethical standards, including our expectations regarding anti-bribery and corruption, modern slavery and fraud prevention. Our procurement processes are aligned with industry practices, and focused on due diligence to ensure an ethical relationship with our partners across the supply chain.

We expect everyone to adhere to laws and regulations, behave fairly and honestly, creating a culture of trust, transparency and respect for others.

Tailwind has adopted the Wates Principles to guide Tailwind’s approach to corporate governance, and holds regular reviews between directors and with stakeholders explaining how the principles are implemented.

1. Antibribery and corruption policy
We do not offer, promise or give any advantages to anyone with the intention of inducing or rewarding improper performance or conduct by them.
We require all those we work with to adhere to these same standards.

2. Fraud prevention policy
We have rigorous financial controls in place to prevent fraud and money laundering.

3. Gift and hospitality policy
We take care when giving or receiving gifts and hospitality to avoid risks of bribery, and ensure we operate fairly and honestly.

4. Modern slavery and trafficking policy

5. Open door policy
To ensure we maintain our high ethical standards, we encourage others to alert us to anyone they think is not complying with our Code of Conduct.

6. Conflict of interest policy
Transparency is key for us. We require any potential or actual conflicts of interest to be reported, so they can be managed to avoid affecting our business.

7. Donations and sponsorship policy
Any sponsorship, charitable donation or contributions must not create a conflict of interest.  To demonstrate transparency, we will publish any we make on our website.
